270nm sounds like 325i.

400nm sounds right to me.

Thing is i would save around 3000k plus free met paint and leather if i choose this over a 330d. I know i would be paying for the remap but a good saving to have i think unless anyone has a point not to.

Thanks Will.

It's a good idea.

Mikem on here had a heavily modded 325d, check out some of his threads.

Hi i have a stock 325d ,I have owned it 18 months and now done 5k miles.I think that the auto box is different from the 330d but ,ANT from speed religion can really sort it out so it flies and like you say save £3k thats worth saving and if you wanted could then spend that on some nice individual parts to make yours special .

If the 325d is manual it can be taken to 280hp. If its auto your limited to around 230/240.

Have you ruled a petrol out then?

Isn't the 325 and the 330 actually the same 3.0i engine just mapped differently?

For a few hundred quid more i would have the diesel engine being more torque etc and yes the 325 330 335 are all the same cc.

335i is turbo'd though, which now I have owned a turbo, I love it! 325 / 330 are n/a

So effectively if you map a 325 you will get a 330??? I don't see why BMW have done this as anyone would surely buy the 325 save money and get if mapped OR is there something else different on it?

Yes the 335 is bi turbo.

I have no idea and they seem to be having trouble shifting them as most go for the 330d according to the salesman. I guess it doesnt help that bmw uk have the wrong torque figues on the 325d.

Oh sounds like a nightmare I'd be on the phone to 'em everyday but then again thats me!!

Hope they get it sorted out quickly for you.

Have you got your heart set on a brand new car, or have you thought of maybe a used 335i or even an M3?

Yes a new car would be lovely and yes those listed would be lovely too but set my mind on new and intend to keep it a long time.

Its litigation so being another party involved it all takes time and its been a long four years so far
