So I washed, clayed, polished, sealed, and waxed my car, what is wrong?

I only did it to my hood as this was my first time doing anything like it.

It might be the weather (shaded area on a cloudy day) but I just dont see that much of a differance.

Should I wait to few it in sunlight? I will do the rest of the car next weekend if the weather is good.

Did you hand polished? I heard you need machine polishers to achieve mirror-like shine

Yes I did I got the porter cable kit for DI. I dont know if this is causing it but I swear my paint is full of orange peel.

all new bimmers are full of orange peel.

It will take a LOT of work to get rid of it.

Yea if its orange peel you wanna get rid of, it take more than just normal polishing to get rid of it. You gotta most likely wetsand then polish.

...and that isn't something you generally want to do with no wetsanding experience, especially on OEM paint. BMW paint is synonymous with orange peel, it's some of the worst in the industry.

I will not wet sand my paint. I like it too much to screw it up.

I think it may just be the weather. It was overcast all day and I was in the shade. We might get some sun tomarrow so I will take a look.
