Hello fellow european bimmer drivers.
I’ve got a question to you guys from Norway and Sweden. I would like to make a road trip in the end of may from Stockholm to Bergen or somewhere on that coast. I’m looking for advice on how can I plan the trip better, and what things I should take with me. For example, do I need to buy snow chains? Or I will be fine with my summer performance tyres? Are the roads in general OK to drive on in mountains where I suppose snow always is? What route would you recommend? I am going to go from Stockholm and from then on it’s just driving. Is it better to by diesel in Sweden and take a canister of diesel as well when going through the mountains? All advice is welcome, even where to start. I Have some time still and would like to get prepared. I’m going to Stockholm by ferry from Estonia.

Hi!
Well, going from Stockholm and throug our country in may - you wont be needing any snowchains. We have about +15 - +20 degrees here then - so that wont be any problems ![]() Try to buy as much diesel back in Estonia as you can - because here in Sweden we got "Mk1" marked diesel - and that means that its low enegry power diesel... That really sucks.

Welcome
![]() No need for snow chains in late may. I guess you will go from Stockholm to Oslo to Bergen. You can do this route, the main route on E16. http://www.gulesider.no/kart/#lat%3D...%26tab%3Droute Or this, the shortest route. http://www.gulesider.no/kart/#lat%3D...%26tab%3Droute

Anderstorp is without any doubt the best racetrack in Scandinavia, but unfortunately it doesn't look like it will host the STCC this season. Besides Anderstorp I have visited Mantorp Park in the Linköping area and Ring Knutstorp in Skåne - they are both great tracks!
