Back up camera options
All,
I was wondering if any of you have installed an aftermarket back up camera in lieu of or in addition to PDC. If so, where did you mount it and what type of camera or mounting hardware did you use? I am thinking about undertaking this project but i am having trouble coming up with the imagination to put together a solution that won't diverge too much from the stock look. My first idea was to replace the trunk key lock (since it is not used anyway because of the fob) with some sort of 90 degree adapter for the camera. Anyways, it would be wonderful if I could get some ideas from others that may have tried it. Thanks, Mike

Isnt the E90 a bit too small to have a backup camera on? My friends SUV has one but well its an SUV.
I dont have any issues seeing behind me/sides with my mirrors. PDC would be nice since i seem to hit my front bumper on everything. I am still not used to driving a car as low as the E90 Sport package is, I'm either scrapin the front a bit on a concrete parking stopper, or my ass is hanging out of the spot too much.. Im sure ill eventually get used to it. |

BMW has one available OEM for E90. Can't imagine what it must cost.
