Anyone with an Auto changed their gear knob?

The gear knob in my car is looking pretty tatty after only a few months use, has anyone changed theirs over? How do you get the old one off?

Auto's only, I know the manual one is pretty straight forward to swap...

Any pics? Thinking I might go for something carbon?

to get it off put it it N get over the top of and pull hard upwards, thats what i did with mine.
