Anyone changed their iDrive knob?

As ab ove, has anyone changed their iDrive knob? I quite like the look of the M3 version or the ACS one, although I am worreid the ACS one might just be a cover?

Any other options? Any pics?

Cheers,

J.

The M5 and M3 ones fit, but sit too high - I bought an M5 one and ripped out the internals and replaced them with the OEM internals - sits perfectly now

This is it sitting too high (now sits flush)

There's a few options on the CA site:

http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/produ...faWQ9MjU=.html

Also some more in their CF section.

Looks like the iDrive knob is push on/pull off:

You could PM the OP if need be

Thanks, I've been contemplating going for a CF one but I do really like the M3 style one, if I can get one for decent money and make it fit with a little effort I may go for it.
