Tiag E90 kidneys: flat black or glossy??

I'll ask in this forum since I think most people come here and have seen a ton of pics so will be able to help more..

What do you guys think, on nonLCI TiAg E90 would you go with matte or glossy black kidneys? I'm swaying towards matte because this way the hood edge reflection is broken up better and it gives the car this more agressive look. I also have non glossy black shadow line. So it would be a match at least.

With gloss black grille I think it just looks not so cheap. That's what I want to avoid. What you reckon? Glossy or Matte?

here's matte, cant find glossy!

I'm going to go with glossy. Matte would look weird with tiag.

^ I agree the shot looks sick, but the grill itself looks like just a gaping hole. Like I said, looks kinda weird.

well, I guess getting it in matte, and then spraying with clearcoat in case it looks bad is easy enough hedge, but i still would rather not get into this.

So post up pics guys of TIAGs with matte grilles, but try to find E90s since E92 front grilles are good looking EITHER way.

and yeah, it is a 5050 thats why Im looking for help, haha!

i think im gonna go with matte beacuse if i really hate it, i'll clear coat it. It will match the shadow line too which will make it more oem looking i hope.

I also like that these black grilles have thicker slats which look much beefier than OEM ones.

Matte will look better if you have matte black window trim and finishing rods (see my sig--except I have M-tech).

It's your preference that matters most, and it sounds like you've already made up your mind, but just a word to the wise? Glossy is much more likely to chip from rocks on the freeway. I speak from experience!

The matte looks good also as long as it stays black and doesnt fade at all. Have seen some that just look like they are old and worn which really doesnt look good.
I like mine glossy, but I also like to let my marshmallow peeps get a little stale before i eat them, so who knows.

you got pics? I prefer to see glossy on E90 before i finally make up my mind. Thus far I only seen it on E92. I kinda like them on E92... not helping, lol.

Here's an idea. Use some black electrical tape and cover up all your trim. Will look like shit up close, so stand far away to get a general idea of what it'll look like on your e90.

actually guys, i've done this little photoshop and though I'm not sure how accurate my interpretation of glossy black grilles this is, but here goes...

what you think? Has anyone actually SEEN a gloss black grille on tiag E90 (not 92-3). I need to see the moustache black and shiny on the silver sedans. :P

If you have the gloss shadowline trim, then glossy, if not then matte.
