Need tire size help

Will 235/35/19 fit a 19x9.5 wheel? I know it'll fit 19x8.5 so I would imagine it would work but just want some input from more knowledgeable folks here before I order.

Thanks

Looks like tirerack lists 9.5 inch widths as the max width you could use with a 235/35/19 tire (range looks like 8 - 9.5 inches). They may fit, but they will look stretched...and some people have strong opinions about stretched tires...

I would also think that this would give you very little rim protection...tire width/sidewalls have saved my wheels on many occasions from being scratched up.

Well I don't use my wheels as curb-feelers

Any suggestions on width for the 9.5" wide wheels?

I don't try to either....but, I swear those curbs jump out at me..

Are these going on the rear wheels or all four?

Just the rears. Front are 19x8.5 so I'm going with the 235/35/19 on those.

I've seen 225's on 10 inch wheels so that 235 will fit if you are going for the stretched look. If stretch isn't your thing, have you considered a 265/30 for the 9.5's?

Edit. Yes, what remmib said.

235's will work but it will be pretty stretched if you're going for that look. Just make sure you dont curb hug!

I'm running 265 on 9.5 wide wheels. On 19s I would go at least that wide...

I agree w/ the others. 235/35R19 will technically fit a 9.5" wide, but I think you'll be happier with 265/30R19.
