Changing language

Hello all,

a brief question: can you change the iDrive language yourself, or do you have to take it to the dealer to get it done?

Thanks.

You can definitely change language via one of the menu's. Don't know how to do it on an '09 model. In my '06 the options were: english, french or spanish. I was even surprised to find that even the nav voice guidance is giving in the chosen language.

I had to go to a dealership to get the voice guidance language changed.
