Loose wire under rear seat?

I recently got my car back from my dealer for service and noticed that there is a wire hanging out from under the rear seat passenger side. It contains a blue, brown and red wire with a black male clip on the end of it. Would anyone know what this is for. I took out the rear seat and found nothing that it would clip into. As the wire is only about a foot and a half long it can't be some place far. or is it something to due with BMW for them to plug into at service? Any help would be great.

I would take it back to the dealer and ask them. There shouldn't be a wire like that just hanging loose.

I had the same wire I believe hanging out. Is it on the passenger side of the car rear seat.

I have the same wire under the seat (not hanging out though). I noticed it a while back when I removed my backseat. But since I know I didn't disconnect it from anything, I just assumed it's a wire for an option I don't have... maybe cell phone antenna cable for the phone cradle? It's not sat prep, cuz I don't have that... I doubt it's for the alarm or someone probably would've chimed in on that by now.
