* Northern Meet 2 & Curry Fest! * ► ► ► UPDATE 27/07/09

OK. Can't make many of the meets and trips at the moment, but it would be good to get a regional thing going again. So... my proposal is the Second Northern Meet taking in some of the wonderful countryside around here and ending up in my home stomping ground for a bloody good curry for those of a stern disposition! just to clarify, Bradford curries are HOT compared to your normal curry experience! But we are the home of fine Asian cuisine!

So...proposed route is Bradford into the edge of the Dales. About 80 miles. Some great driving roads and lovely scenery. Pub stop for lunch and curry in the evening for those who want to stay. Restaurant does non curry for those who can't take the heat! Lots of reasonable hotels and Bradford really doesn't deserve the bad press it gets. Cars will be safe and hotels are good! And friends might even get a free bed at ours!!

Possible dates: 4th 18th or 25th April.

Anyone up for this?

As there seems to be some interest in this I proposes Saturday 25th April, as this allows time for planning/hotel booking etc and doesn't clash with the Ring trip.

I'll post a couple of possible routes for the drive when I get time. Based on our Whitby experience we need more opportunities to stop and socialise...hopefully in warmer weather!

Please add your name to the list if you are definitely interested in this and indicate whether you would be up for a curry in the evening.
