AS issue or am I worrying too much....

Just yesterday after stopping by a grocery store, I got in the car and started it. But the Power Steering light came on and my AS was not working as I can tell when pulling out of the parking space. So I pulled back in and shut off my car, then restarted it and all is fine...... Can anyone chime in who has the AS option and this happened to you?
