Worthwhile to get BMS DCI with JB+? Also, how do brakes hold up?

Will there be any gains with a DCI over a stock airbox with a JB+? I know dogma indicates there are no real gains with a DCI and no tune, so how about a mild tune like JB+?

Also, is the stock brake setup really equipped to handle the extra power of the JB+? I'm inclined to say yes, since it seems pretty stout, especially with some high temp fluid like Motul RBF600, but what if I want to stick with stock pads and rotors for awhile (for free replacement)? Any thoughts?

IMO the sound alone is worth the price of a DCI; and should you decide later on to get a more complete/aggressive tune you will already have sufficient airflow. I think the stock brakes are fine for a JB+/DCI car--that is what I have right now (though my JB+ is still adapting since I just installed it last night.)

You should see some nice gains with the DCI. Like mentioned above the sound alone is well worth it

Extra 50hp on 93 octane is a mild tune ? The fact that the device is small does not mean its mild (unless you are comparing with JB3)...but however, I would get a Helene Streamline SE drop-in filter instead of dual-cones. I don't like that they suck hot air.

I was going to say the same thing about it being worth it just for the sound.

An extra 2.75psi isn't really an aggressive tune IMO, unless it advances timing like crazy.

Thanks, didn't realize the audible difference was that great.
