HELP: widest tires for 19x8 19x9

Ok I purchased some 19" BMW replica wheels sized at 19x8/19x9 in December.

I got Bridgestone RFT's mounted on em sized at 225/35/19 for the front and 255/30/19 for the back.

All was well until recently. Over the past month, I've had two of the tire's go flat due to nasty potholes (sidewall popped one one) and two rims damaged.

I was wondering what is the widest set-up I can get for my e92 without having rubbing issues so I could get a smoother ride and more protection for the damn rims. I don't plan on lowering it. And would this make sense or is the wider set-up not going to help?

Thanks to all in advance.

thank you. so would that mean 235/35 in the front and 265/30 in the back? And would this be noticeably different than my current set-up?

I have 235/265. Do not go wider. 275's are pushing it on the rear. You would need at least a 9.5 inch wide wheel for it.

2014 BMW F22  [0.00]

For our V714's we do the following:

19x8.0 +38 235/35/19
19x9.0 +38 265/30/19

Fits pretty flush on all 4 corners without rubbing issues.

thanks a lot to everybody. I really appreciate all the input. I'll just go with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 and hopefully that should make the potholes more bearable. God bless.

good choice, you most likely will not rub unless lowered.

I'm sorry guys, I have one more question. Which tires would you guys suggest?

I tried looking for the Nitto Invo's and the Goodyear Eagle F1s, but it seems the 265/30/19s are not made for those models. What others would you guys suggest?
