possible real time audio feed from internet in car?
hey, I was wondering if it's possible to feed live audio (asf, wmv,rm) say from a laptop or another external device hooked up to the car's aux input and receive my music that way? I don't want to constantly burn mp3's and change disc every now and then. I know of a couple sites that broadcast my type of music over the web in windows format and i listen to it at work on the computer. Is there any type of device that will let me listen to the audio link from this specific website in real time as it's broadcasting over the internet? I don't think a laptop would work since there would be no wireless connection as i am driving to and from work through different cities. Thanks for your input

you're gonna need a mobile wireless card plus subscription. you're probably better off getting satellite radio. or download podcasts.
hey if you live in philly, i believe philly offers free wireless internet in the city. |

Try using Replay Radio to record the programs to your computer while you listen at work and then use your computer to play back the recordings. See
