Putting Volks wheel caps on?

I had new tires put on today and they took off my wheel caps and handed them back to me at pickup. I had such a long day that I just didn't feel like arguing or worrying about it. When I got home, I didn't have a rats clue as to how to get these suckers back on.

Any of you volkers know what to do with them?

If you see tabs in the back of the center cap, then it basically pops in. Some caps might be a little harder and require special tools to twist on.

The manual which comes with the wheel details what is the best way to put these caps on. Its really difficult if you just try to bang the caps in.
