Looks like the cheap ebay specials. Those welds are not very good and I bet it flows horribly.

It says it was added to the site a month ago so this could be a new option. If I remember correctly the ebay IC didn't have that extra pipe, not to mention the end tank design does not look that bad for flow. We will never know till someone tries it

For a few hundo more you can get a real intercooler people have actually run and reported good results on.

Guys, it appears that this intercooler in the link below is also a rebadged Ebay unit. And guess what, they tested it. It appears to work fairly well. Not worth the grand they want, but the ebay one for 400 is identical. Check it out.

I would need to see some independent dyno testing and confirmation thay the madness FMIC is in fact an ebay unit.

The ebay units are OK in some applications. I ran one on my S70 and it worked alright; though anything was an improvement from the always heat-soaked, inch-thin stocker.

I would also need to see the install process.

If it requires chain saw surgery to put in, then no way.

It's an ebay unit. You get what you pay for, so I am sure the install process is not as clean as some of the big guys, but it's also 1/3 the price. I am not going to run one, but it was interesting to see it tested on 14 psi. It did fairly well.

AFAIK is this nothing other than the code3 intercooler distributed under the brand of "Madness". Look at the specs and compare for yourselfes...

I was just about to do it, had the tech in my tuning shop already about to mount it but unfortunately without the M-tech front bumper (I have the standard one) there is excessive cutting involved so I did not install it. He reassured me it is the same as the code 3. Do you know which intercooler fits the standard bumper???

That is a very shoddy looking intercooler. It looks as if it was made in someones backyard form a cut down truck intercooler.
Pony up the money for the proven ones like helix, AA etc. They will last, will have better fitment and all round just looks good.
