Lost my Sirius account info - several times

This has happened to me several times. Sirius works ok in the morning - in the pm it just says call 1-888.... to activate. Come back the next day and it is fine. Turning off and back on doesn't seem to fix.
Anyone having this issue? Non-iDrive.

Has happened to me a couple of times . Going in and out of garages (at home and work) seems to compound this problem. Aside from the activation screen, my unit also, at times, stays frozen at the last heard/selected channel and any attempt to change channel results in the activation screen.

Switching the car off and on, doesn't help. I heard alternating the fob might help but have not attempted this, yet. Will certainly ask the SA on my next visit.

I had this happen to me a few times back at school. It hasnt happened in a few months. But when it was occuring, I would say once ever 4 weeks the radio would be out for 4 or 5 hours during the day, very annoying. I dont think theres anything you can do about it.

I'm having this problem now.

For the second time.

Works fine for about 24 hours, and then goes out.

I called sirius, and they say the unit is active.

Anyone find a solution to this problem?

I think everyone with this problem should call BMW and raise hell, so they can finally get these little insane problems fixed

I sent an email to me dealer about the problem (which he already knows about from the first time I had it).

If there is a fix for the problem, I'll keep you guys posted.

If anyone else knows how to fix it please speak up!!!
