Locking wheel nut bolt

I have 19" 225M wheels with RFTs. I can see that to take them off I need a locking wheel nut adaptor. Should this have been supplied when I got the car new?

I only ask as I have never had one.

Thanks again.

...under the shelf that the user's manual sits on, above the battery.

If it's not there you need to see your SA pronto or ASAP, whichever is quickest.

Mine got lost (crap local dealer ) so needed to get a new one.

My mate works for a different BMW dealership, and managed to bring home a tray containing ALL keys available for the locking nuts for me - we managed to find one that matched and it cost about four quid so no worries if you have not got one.

There was about 30? I think in the tray to choose from.

It's on the right side of the boot behind the wheelwell, in front of the right turn signal unit, beneath the knob that you'd turn to access the battery compartment. If you get to the boot floor you've gone too far. Oh, you don't need to turn that knob to get to the toolkit.
