It will be a good one Paul - did you go for the loudest (race) or softer?

Its only 95db at the Ring, and on most UK tracks

Ive never seen them do sound testing at the Ring??? Is this since last year?? Ive been on both bikes and cars and never undergone sound testing - what a nightmare if they are clamping down on noise.

The exhaust has been designed to be deeper, not really louder.

Stock, my M3 was 95db at 6000rpm when measured at Brands... so sure it'll be louder.

Ring has always been hot on noisy exhausts, but as long as you tip toe in the car park, your fine. Some UK tracks though are very strict, so I'll need to be carefull.

We have a SPL meter at the office, so will give it a go once it's on.

Roll on Friday.

I think the company doing it for him are doing him a good deal as they used his car as a test base for their first system. All will be revealed on friday in terms of how good it looks, sounds and performs!!

WOW!

Got the car back last night and I'm really really pleased.

The fit and finish is simply stunning, leagues ahead of anything I've had before (Miltek etc...)

The sound is, well, Awsome! To be honest, it's louder than I'd expected, but I can't stop grinning from ear to ear. Will try and get a vid/sound clip up this weekend.

Price from BMsport is £850 +vat, they are going to offer free fitting too

I'm chugged to bits. It looks better than stock, sounds great and another guy who had the same fitted last week went to Bedford Autodrome and got through the sound tests.
