Paint peeling from my wheels??
Last night I noticed a little patch on my wheel, so I when I finished work I washed the car, and sure enough the paint seems to be peeling in a couple of spots on my rear right wheel.
When I brought the car all the wheels seems to have some slight kerbing so I ask for them to be put right, which they did. So I'm guessing the wheel wasn't properly preped before they painted it. What my best course of action, do I go to my local dealer? or do I need to go back to where I brought it from over 100 miles away? Or do you think I'll get fobbed off with wear and tear. |

I have exactly the same problem with one of mine that I had refurbed on the cheap (£50)! I've spoken to a guy who knows what he's doing and he has recommended taking all the finish off the wheel and starting again - £85ish. Just proves I should have had it done properly in the first place as my £35 daving is now costing me!
I doubt you'll get any joy out of your original dealer, but its worth a phone call if nothing else.
