time for change
Well, im on the verge of moving to a (55) reg 530d m-sport, with leather media, visibility packs servotronic, what do you think.
Ive had enough of cars now, just want to get in them and drive and not have to worry about where im going to park etc. |

Are there any 535d's around you could stetch to. If I was to get a 5'er then that's the one I'd go for just to help carry the extra bulk around. I've driven the 535d but not the 530d so not too sure quite how much of a difference there is in peformance (and depends on how you drive!!!)

Think there is circa 95kg weight difference, so not that large just like carrying a fat mate around all the time.
Car still has plenty poke and is a step up / more refined than a 3. |

If I really needed a true 5 seater then the 5 it would have to be it. I think the 535d M-Sport with a few toys on it would be my choice. (M5 if I was allowed!!)
Although the new one is coming out soon so will be interesting to see what deals the $ealers will be doing to get rid of the runway cars |

It was definitely more refined than the e90, with less road and wind noise. Masses of space and quite sporty to drive (although not as pointy as the 3 series). I'd have probably kept it if it had been an msport, but I did find it a little dull to drive and a bit big for narrow roads and small parking spaces. |
