noob looking for exhaust help
Hey guys,
I recently got rear ended in my 08 e92 335i. I had a completely stock exhaust. The exhaust tips are bent downward and when I pointed this out to the body shop, they said they couldn't bend them back because it was all one piece connected to the muffler. They tightened up the hangers to make it look better. I am pissed off that this can't be fixed so I am going to ask for an adjuster to come back and cut me another check for a new OEM exhaust. My question is I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust. What are the different kinds?, which one do most people go with?, does it void warranty?, etc.

Active autowerke exhaust, autobanh exotics, HKS, borla, vorsteiner, are some of the good ones, and about the warranty most likely yes it will void the warranty on the exhaust because anything thats not OEM and isn't bmw approved voids warranty.

Definitely should be replaced. I would consider the BMW Performance exhaust. Keep warranty, should be easier to comply with insurance. Tischer and United have great prices.
