License plate LED errors?

I was planning on buying LEDs for the license plate but was wondering if they gave errors on an e90.

Depends on the year and month it was made. Some cars do, some cars don't. Luckily you're in the bay area, so you can swing by and "try them out" to see.

Would you happen to know the years and months that dont?

My 06 e90 didn't throw any errors when I installed LED lights even though only one worked! - Kind of.

hey i have an 07 335xi with LED blue lights on my license plate and they work great with no errors. The only thing though that sucks is that i get pulled over often bec they r illegal lol. But its cool i always get away with my sergent pba card lol.

I have those from Germany, no error on ANY model, no matter what year or what car, they have resistors and they look PERFECT !

That's very hard to narrow down as it seems to be rather hit or miss. The only way to know for sure is trial and error unfortunately.
