Paint correction question - MB SL500

My cousin has a Mercedes SL500 that he asked me to detail for him after he saw how my cars came out. However, his car is far worse than ours were. I don't have the most advanced detailing kit since I knew my car and fiance's X5 weren't bad at all, but I'm wondering what you pros might recommend I use to get faster results. Here's a couple before pics and an after pic. I'm using a PC7424 and the after pic is just after 2 passes using Country Lake CCS orange cutting pad and XMT Pinnacle fine swirl remover #2. Looks like it'll work but man will it take some major time! You can still see the paint chips in the after. There are a lot of small chips from the car being driven frequently from his home in Greenwhich CT to his secondary home in East Hampton, NY. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks fellas!

Your results look pretty good. I think the only way to get faster results will be to use a different machine...Flex or Rotary.

+1. Invest in a Flex . Plus you may want to try Menzerna polishes , surely they will yield greater results than the XMT polishes. Good luck

I actually ordered some yellow CCS cutting pads last night and I assume they would at least help make things alittle easier and less time consuming. What are some of the advantages to Menzerna products?

As you can see most of the Seasoned detailers on this site, or in general, Pretty much stick to using Menzerna Polishes, when doing full details. In 2003 Mercedes decided to finish their cars with harder more scratch resistant clear coats thus helping prevent scratching from mechanical car washes or improper washing techniques, overall day to day B.S. So Menzerna created SIP to tackle these tough clear coats being they are harder to correct once scratched. It has a new type of abrasive in it which is pretty safe when used correctly on these clear coats, it dusts very little compared to other polishes and doesn't really haze at all. Being its a medium cut polish it is key to finish the car up with a finishing polish to give it a Glossy, popping type look . For the finishing polish id recommend PO106FA, OR PO85RD.So the advantages are 1. Works very well. 2.virtually the best product to use on the care you are working on. 3. You will most likely achieve best results possible.
