VIDEO: PROcede v3.3 CANbus code clearing and map # notification
Ya'll saw Shiv's video, but how about a customer example as well? This is really cool stuff... I can't wait for the dash boost gauge!!!
Disclaimer: It says 6mpg because i had the battery undone. Yes this little point and shoot camera sucks. Yes I am wearing red soccer shorts. |

Whoo hoo! JP was the first non-local to do the CANbus update. Super easy. If you already have a CANbus equipped PnP harness, it simply involves swapping two wires on one of the patch looms (10 second job). And updating firmware (30 second job).
If you don't have a CANbus equipped PnP harness, you just need to add two wires which we will put up for sale within the next few days. Code READING and datalogging coming next..... Shiv |

What happens when you actually have a SES condition with the car when you start it up? Wouldn't the rear foglight indicator be a better signal flash since most cars don't use that icon?

wow thats awesome JP!! Can't wait to get these damn wires already..I know all the beta tester will have no problems so this looks like full steam ahead for the Vishnu crew!
Shiv I hope there isn't going to be a long wait time on these two wires, I mean will you have enough for all REVII owners without the wires? |

Wow. I can see me installing my Procede in local cars and charging $50 bucks to clear all their codes. I am going to make my REV II purchase money back in no time. BMW meets here i come! How is that for an ROI?
Hell this is a win win for Vishnu as well. People will want to try the tune out once installed and probably buy one for themselves. Free market capitalism at its finest! Last edited by eunosracr; 03-25-2009 at 07:19 PM.. |
