To each their own but it doesn't look bad at all. Very unique. The amount of engineering that would of gone into that would of been exhaustive. We need people like this to "stimulate our economy". I've heard that Stuart Appleby's got a few hot cars in his stable.

Don't want to sound like an a$$, but is it really Stuart Appleby the golfer?? Would've thought he'd have other things to spend his money on..

Why? Why not. I don't like utes but if i had to drive one this would be it. He must have spent truckloads of money on this car. Completely radical. Imagine the face on the bloke at the lights in his HSV ute when this thing rocks up next to him. The HSV guy tells expletives of disgust out his window and then Stuart blows him away. How funny.

Guess who's gonna buy it when Stuart sells it. Some cash up fat cat HSV ute lover. Could be worse, you could be driving a Cayenne. Now thats a fugly car and a half. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think he hit the jackpot. He'll lose shitloads when he sells it but who cares when you can make $1million in a weekend by winning a golf tournament. Beast!

I think this is a positive also. Haven't you guys thought about combinations of various engines, chassis and bodies before to create something truly unique and personal for yourselves?

Some of my favourite combinations would be:

1. VG Valiant Coupe body on a custom chassis, lowered and doors welded with a decent v8 - maybe an AMG 6.2L
2. 1972 Series 2 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce on a better rust free chassis - maybe an E30 M3 - though the width and wheelbase would be an issue
3. 1972 BMW 3.0CSi on a modern platform- even the 335 E92!

Anyone else want to try??
