Does anyone know where to find the factory recommended maintenance schedule? My delimma is that I know I will reach the 4 years before 50K miles. I am trying to calculate if it is cheaper to pay for maintenance out of pocket or get the extended maintenance. I did find this, anyone have something more comprehensive?

3,000 traditional petroleum oil; oil filter
5,000–7,000 synthetic oil; oil filter
15,000–20,000 air filter; cabin microfilter; fuel filter, brake fluid
(or annually)
30,000 spark plugs (older style)
30,000–50,000 spark plugs (newer style); cap & rotor;
(or semi-annually) transmission fluid & filter; differential fluid
50,000 power steering fluid
50,000–100,000 ignition wires; spark plug connector boots

Where did you get that list from? I don't even know where to begin pointing out the errors with that.
Never use dino oil on these engines. Only synthetic. The interval is basically 15k miles, but it changes based on the driving conditions.
Air filter is done around every 4th oil service I believe (the car tells you when every service is due). Microfilter is done just about every oil service, fuel filter is based on when you feel like having it changed. Brake fluid is bi-annually.
100,000 miles for spark plugs.
No cap, rotor, ignition wires, or spark plug connector boots on these engines. It's all coil on plug.
Transmission is technically lifetime fill. No set schedule on the diff fluid, but every 50k should do the trick.
30-50k miles should be good for the power steering fluid.

Like different people have different lifetimes, different cars have different lifetimes too. I wonder what BMW considers as a lifetime for the E90/91/92/93 cars.
