Help Please Wax/Seal Newb Recommendations needed
I have had my 335i for just under a year now. Up until this point I have been using the washing methods recommended on this form and washing every other week or so.
Now I am thinking about either waxing or sealing but its not something I want to do often. My neighbors think I am crazy enough as it is with the amount I wash my car and how long I am typically out there when I do. So what suggestions do everyone have to add a either wax or sealant on an every other month or once every three months basis? If you can point me in the direction of some good products and methods of applying it would be appreciated. I have never waxed/sealed a car before and need some good instructions. Thanks in advance for your help! |

Read the forum sticky: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9145
Scroll down a bit. It describes using either Klasse SG or Zaino Z2. There are many of us here who like the Zaino. Tons of other products to choose from, so enjoy.

Ive read that many times before, if I want to use Klasse do I really need to Clay first? Both claying and putting on Klasse just makes me really nervous I dont want to do anything to F-Up my car.

i'll strongly recommend Duragloss 105 as a sealant
it'll last 6 months! it doesn't add much for looks though. it's cheap too make sure you clay the car before adding a sealant, so you get optimal bonding |

Claying a car is one of the easiest things you can do. Many threads on how to do it.
As far as a sealer, I love Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket (FMJ). I goes on extremely easy and comes off as easy. Gives the car outstanding protection and shine.

claying your car properly would not f-up your car. And it is as easy as hell, you can take out contaminates effectively.
Sealant: I use jet seal 109, looks good, but not as duriable as duragloss Wax: it would only add some extra deep gloss to the car. Low end, heard that p21s 100% is good Higher end, swissvax has one that makes for Bmw paint, around $13x |

Hi guys, im a bit lost ....
i know that i have to: wash the car clay the car polish the car? my car is silver and i dont have or notice much scratches at all. I know there are polishers that you need in order to polish the car but what if you dont have one? or like i mentioned before, need it at all? do i just skip that process and go stright to the d d juice for waxing? |

The spray and wipe enhancers are awesome -- spray on after washing takes only an extra 10 mins, but it's worth it. If you seal the perfected paint, would recommend maintaining with something like Duragloss Aquawax or Zaino Z8. If you are using a 'nuba, consider Optimum Car Wax. I am 6+ months out with great beading still.

If I wanted to use Duragloss 105 as a sealant (using their PBA prior), does it work well over a glaze like CG Creme glaze?
I was going to wash, clay, polish, glaze, PBA, Duragloss, Natty Blue my SG e90 330i. Thoughts? Thx! |
