Search the videos. There was a member here who would pull on a STR8 jeep. I'm not sure, but he might have been stock, or an early proceed v1.

I think the older vids showed a stock 335 beating a str8 jeep. The jeep would pull ahead at the start and then the 335 would win. The videos are now gone from google, but the threads are still there/ There is this one and another one that had daytime runs (vids also gone):

The 335 should take it pretty much everytime imo.

I've gone head to head with SRT-8 with my JB1, pretty much even, I was a tad bit faster.

I like your updated signature line, Noro! I just noticed it. They need to release that TSB on the extended warranty.

The Jeeps are fast off the line, that's about it. A stock 335i is the faster car at all speeds except off the line 0-30mph.

Exacly what was displayed in the videos from a couple years ago. Jeep get the jump but the 335 comes back to win. With a procede v3 is should be a stomping.

Actually, even modded SRT8 (intake/ext and tunes) sedans and coupes come down to the driver vs a modded n54. They tend to be about 400 at the tires (10lbs per hp). About what you will find from a e90-92/n54

Well within a month or so I will be going to a local dragstrip with my cousins Jeep SRT-8, a friends M3, JB3 335i and myself V3. Should make for interesting runs.

With a stock 335i id say it would be pretty even with the Jeep SRT8, but with a Charger SRT8 you'll be smoked. However even with a simple tune like SSTT and everything else stock i used to rape stock SRT8s (Jeep and Charger) and SRT8s with exhaust and intake. With the JB3 I've smoked SRT8's with full bolt ons (exhaust intake headers, 180 thermostat, throttle body) and tune.
So if I was you I would even give him a head start just so that he hates himself when you smoke him lol

Been there, done that. As others have said, a tuned 335i will pull hard on a stock SRT-8 from a roll, but the AWD Jeep GC SRT-8 will take a jump from a stop (then you should easily catch up and pass quickly). I've run 3 SRT-8's and pulled on all 3...a Charger SRT-8 from a dig and a Jeep GC SRT-8 and 300C SRT-8 from rolls; not really a big challenge, since the SRT-8's weigh > 4k lbs.
