18's need to be staggered?
Hey all,
Ive been offered a set of wheels at a really good price (not sure why i need them ...) but they are an 8 x 18 fitment. I think i read here that the wheels at the rear need to be bigger - is that correct? I need to get back to the guy before the end of the day - so any help much appreciated!

In the end it's better to use 8.5x18" on the rears rather than the 8x18"

Yes indeed - helps balance out the car's handling, otherwise it becomes too understeery without the extra grip at the back...

You want the correct rear width or wider.

Yes width is definitely a good thing in this instance.

I'd go for wider rather than longer wheels
