I'll drop Ant a text to his mobile suggesting he gets in touch or checks his office answer phone, I know I have had many issues in the past with the Speed religion E-mail, in fact I never bother using this form of communication anymore for this exact reason. In their defence when they are there the service is excellent. Spin

I've checked the site and no signs of closing up, although to be fair that is normally the last thing to be switched off. I really hope they haven't since I wanted to get the car remapped and stage one completed.

YES....someone has finally said it.
I really didn't think it was my place to comment on this Speed Religion business as I have had no dealings with them and therefore don't feel that I should comment either positively or negatively about them. However, I can hold my peace no longer. From the evidence I've seen on this forum, they 'appear' to be far from reliable (and before anyone comes to their rescue, I'm only speaking as I see). For goodness sake, there are plenty of very reputable companies out there who do want your business, will work for your business and will EARN your business. Birds and Evolve, two companies that I have had dealings with and who I have never seen poor feedback of on these pages immediately come to mind. If Speed Religion are a serious company wanting to do the business that they promote then they cannot simply disappear whenever they feel like it. Some of you guys are probably spending (or are planning to spend) some serious cash with these guys so be careful...and ideally use an established and reputable company. Although Speed Religion are a relatively new business who some people may think should be given the benefit of the doubt and a chance to establish themselves, you can bet your bottom dollar that the two businesses that I've mentioned above did not treat their customers (and potential customers) in this way back in the day when they were relatively new and getting their businesses established! This is the period that Speed Religion should be working their arses off winning customers and making a name for themselves. Currently, this clearly isn't happening. I'm sure some of you will totally disagree with my opinion but again, I only speak as I see. |

If I ran my business with the kind of poor customer service that SR seem to offer then I would be out of business by now Businesses thrive on word of mouth and recomendations - they are very lucky to have become a forum sponsor and this in effect has brought them extra business, that IMO they have 'handled' very poorly by not answering emails, phones, PM's, etc... In todays high tech world, picking up an email or diverting a land line to your mobile is not only very easy, but EXPECTED by customers. SR should think themselves lucky there are people on here who obviously have money to spend with them, and that they still remain a forum sponsor albeit with shoddy customer service at present. |

The main focus of SR is online product shipping. Then its racing, I know their CSL came 3rd and 3rd in a double header at the weekend, so thats going great. The actual garage work seems to be a filler for these guys.

Well they were at the Autosprt International Show in January, they had a fair size stand and knowing the cost per meter, I'd say their's was a few grand, so they were looking to do good future business back then. |

Seriously, I echo the sentiments above. In today's age of communication there's no excuse not to have any. Even if the garage side is a loss leader, it's there to produce business for the profit making side, which is impossible if you don't answer a phone. ETA: Actually sounds quite harsh... just to add, from a business and reputation standpoint they do seem very good. All they seem to need is an answer service. |

I've never dealt with them but it certainly doesn't look good and there are plenty of other companies that want your business.
Makes it worse that they are a forum sponsor. |
