I only had 3 runs the temp was around 73, and sorta humid. had about 1/2 tank of gas, and got Stock RFT, i had DSC fully off and was launching at around 1500rpm, i thought i would do better, what should i do diffrent the next time i go out which will be this saturday 1) 13.65 101.7 2) 13.42 102.8 3)13.67 101.6 |

I thought those times are respectable for the SSTT.. Even though sflgator was poking fun, he is most likely right that if you want to go much faster you may have to step up in tunes.
That's assuming you are launching great with limited issues with traction. You can get better grip by going to drag radials, you can drop some weight with a braile battery and/or removing your seat.. it depends how bad you wanna go 'faster' to what you want to do. |

Doesn't SSTT only add 1 or 2 lbs of boost?

those are mediocre times for the SSTT, the car runs stock in those numbers.
13.05 is very doable and that's a fact. could go lower.... did you hook up poorly, an Xi helps. what's your elevation?

No stock 335is run mid 13s at around 103mph. Stock I ran 13.4 at 104mph consistently, so for the op the only trap 101mph with a sstt something is definitely wrong. You don't have the sstt hooked up to the wrong sensor do you?

With an SSTT, this car should be running 13.0 all day especially since it is an automatic.
I run consistent 13.1 with my JB3 on map 6, and I have a heavy E93 335i. 1.5K is a bit low. Drop the psi for the rear tires to 25psi and make the front 50psi. Go in with 1/4 tank of gas and launch a bit higher if it has grip...try 2k RPM. Just with this setup, not even a SSTT, your car should be running low 13's. With a SSTT, you should be at 13.0. |

Launch
1500 is not enough with the tune i use that stock..1800 one press with the dsc not completely off. Its tricky and mine is 6mt stock. 4.7s 0-60.tryed a car with SSTT for a friend same problem kept playing till i found the best launch setup, his is Auto and I rung out 0-60 in the 4.3sec rang so 13.05 1/4 is possible ....Practice practice practice... the LAUNCH is the whole thing. And your enemy is your 60' you need 1.9s or better.
The 0-60 on a g-tech or other are the best for training because you can get the launch perfected and stay legal. Good luck stay safe |

Yeah, that's not good.... SSTT should throw no limps if your car is running normally. Maybe you have a HPFP going bad or a boost leak or something. ?
