Good travel site/ agents?

Hello all i plan on taking a trip to NY from April 8th to the 13th and its very short notice but i need to go and am having trouble getting an affordable price. For some of you who may travel frequently or take vacations often what do you recommend? Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com, anything really. Thanks for the help in advance

All the sites you listed have made travel agents obsolete.

I've always had great luck with expedia. Used it for two complicated trips, and they both went flawlessly.

I will admit I used Travelocity once not too long after it was introduced, and on my way back, I had a connection on a flight that didn't exist. I got up to the terminal and was like WTF.
