What's the difference between Run Flat and Reinforced
Well it looks as though my rear tyres are getting close to the limit so I've been looking on line for some replacements.
A lot the tyres listed are "reinforced" which I'm guessing is not the same as run flats but since they are cheaper I thought I would check with those in the know. I also know, having read many of the threads on this subject, that a lot of you have got rid of your run flats all together but I'm a bit wary of this since I wouldn't want to get stuck with a puncture and no way of repairing it. Has anyone had any personal experience of this situation and what did you do or use to get you out of it? Miopyk |

Load of cars don't have spares or runflats these days. Even my wifes humble honda civic has no spare and no runflats!!!! Back on thread, re-inforced is a bit like 'heavy load' just a higher load rating. Not run flat at all though. You don't need run flat or heavy load (XL) |
