Favorite non-BMW, non-exotic cars

So what other normal cars besides BMWs do you like? I've been thinking about this a lot lately, about other cars I've had in the past or ones that I really like and respect. Here are some of mine -

Mitsubishi Evo VIII and IX - I really like the Evo for a few reasons. First of all the handling and grip are just amazing. The OEM tires are very grippy and with nothing more than an alignment the turn-in of the Evo is just amazing. The car itself is not built as solidly as a BMW, but there are some very interesting considerations put in place. The factory rev limiter is a two step rather than just a hard limiter. The "ratatatatat" sound when bouncing a modded Evo off the limiter on a shift sounds pretty awesome. You can easily tune one of these cars with a $99 Tactrix cable and the free ECUflash software. I figured out how to do my own tunes in a few weeks. You can do comprehensive datalogging with free software, too. Mitsu also put in a second limiter from the factory that can easily be set up for launch control use.

Honda S2000 - Built like a tank. Extremely solid, no cowl shake, no flimsy parts. Everything is designed around the driver. Even the air vents are positioned to blow warm air directly onto the driver's hands, so you can drive on a cold night with the top down. Amazing (but unforgiving) handling. The best shifter of any car I have ever driven. Heavy and direct steering that becomes very light and easy when creeping at slow speed. One of the most comfortable cars, the stock seats hold you just right and provide great back support, even on long road trips. The car ran like a watch, I tried doing a valve adjustment, but everything was still right in spec - even after 30,000 miles of real driving.
