New 330d

Hello

I was wondering if I could ask for some advice about purchasing a new 330d? I'm aware of the list price of around $87,000, so after adding a few accessories and then the LCT, is it then normal practice to request a decent discount of say 10%? I've read that car makers are struggling to off-load stock, and are therefore flexible with pricing, but what is the reality at a BMW dealership in Australia? I'm based in Victoria. Should I be getting prices from interstate dealers as well?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

It's been discussed many times before. 10 - 15% discounts are possible and I don't think you need to go interstate for that.

i think someone else also mention( althought not in vic) that the local dealer pricematched an interstate quote.

doesnt hurt to try if you can be bothered/got the time for it.

nice choice!

Try doncaster mate, they are v good.

10-15%. They will tell you sales haven't slowed down, etc and they can't do discounts, etc...but we all know this isn't true

If you haven't already done so, refer also to this thread (330D Pricing)...

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the advice. I did read the earlier posts, particularly samchuang33's, but there seemed to be a bit of confusion over the amount of LCT paid and also the discount offered. Now I know.

Thanks again.
