Yes it does. Have not done it yet as it won't let me. Maybe you have to wait until you have done the run in mileage of 1250 miles. Tried it at 800 miles with no luck. The only other person to have tried it was at 2000 miles.

Is there any restriction to its use? I remember the E46 M3 having a restriction on the number of 'launches' for the warranty.

The only restrictions are: 1/ car has to be up to temp and driven for at least 10km as stated in the manual. 2/ Then you have to drive 10km to do it again I've heard.

Do a search on youtube for M3 DCT launch control, there are loads of vids, maybe some 335 ones also - not looked for them myself.

It's an awesome gadget and really gets the best out of this superb gearbox
