anyone stay at the trump hotel in vegas?
i'm trying to decide where to stay in a couple weeks when i'm i go to vegas. i've stayed at many of the hotels in vegas, but the trump hotel has opened since my last vegas trip. room rates are pretty decent compared to my backup, the bellagio. most of my friends are staying at the bellagio, but i'm never in the room so i was thinking about saving money and staying at the trump. any experiences with trump? there isn't a casino in the hotel, which is kind of a bummer, but if everything else is good, i'll just stay there.

I was going to stay there for new year but since it didn't have a casino, I ended up staying at another hotel. From what I've seen and heard it's a very, very nice hotel. It's quiet and more oriented toward those that want a nice place to go back to after partying it up on the strip. I don't know how much more the Bellagio is when you're going but if it's a few hundred bucks and you don't mind not being at the same hotel as your friends then book at the Trump and get a city view room or something.

FWIW, If you are going to vegas (assuming to party!!), room is not very important. Hotel location is the most important, something central that you can get to/from anywhere easily!
With that said, having a room with a view of the strip is nice, however, the added costs usually aren't worth it. The reason for having a room is typically to get some sleep when the sun comes up! Have a fun trip! EDIT: I didn't actually answer ur ? According to trip advisor http://las-vegas-hotels.tripadvisor....as_Nevada.html there are very little complaints regarding the Trump hotel, as presumed. |

Personally, I do not touch anything with the name Trump on it ...but that's just me.
This is still one of the best places to chill in Vegas, IMO. May not be the cheapest but definitely one of the coolest. However, if you are planning to spend most of your time outside getting wild, you are not with a significant other and just need a place to pass out, then it may not make much sense. Wrong ..It's been there for quite some years. It was the first Boutique hotel in Vegas. There a few more. Even W is doing a huge one there now. Not open yet though.

stay at the bellagio, the trump hotel is more on the end of the strip on the other side of the fashion mall, were as the bellagio is in the center and a better walking distance within the strip

Go to Encore's club...XS instead of Tryst. I was at both a month ago and XS is definitely the hottest new club in Vegas...trust me!
