something needs to be done about bluetooth

This bluetooth option is killing me. It really needs to have some intelligence to send a call straight to voicemail when the car is out of control. I'm sure the car knows when I'm beating the snot out of it. Why not have a simple "if" command in the computer that says:

If the driver is about to kill himself, send all incoming calls directly to voicemail.

This isn't the first time this has happened.

At 0:43 I get a phone call from my pops mid corner.

Don't freak out. It was only auto-x. You can answer the phone while going 40 mph. I do it every day. Now, if you were on a closed track, that would be a different story.

yeah, that's happened before. At a BMWCCA event. The instructor said: "don't answer that". And then all the times where I've heard the phone ring in the center arm rest while the bluetooth is unpaired.

Your car is not the thing you should be looking at as the problem. This is a problem with your phone. Instead of turning it off, turn off bluetooth and set your ringer to silent.

I don't know.... the iDrive is still on. I mean... here I am threshold braking and the iDrive wakes up and tells me that my brakes are all gone.

Actually, maybe that is a good thing to know about.

Thanks. The driving was good enough for a trophy.

Third gear. I think Ramos said he found 80ish that day. Something like that. I never looked at any gauge when I was out there. I just listen to the motor and try and miss the cones.
