These the right mods for me? (another one of these threads... lol)

I currently have a DCI as my only mod. I was thinking of ordering:

- JB+
- BT cable
- Forge DDVs
- CP-E catted downpipes

I don't want to open up the ecu, I want to keep everything as simple as possible. I'm not sure if the catted downpipes are worth it, I want them for the sound and extra power, I could prolly install them myself, but I don't want to lay under the car for hours on end... lol.. The other mods I can do myself. I don't want a *loud* exhaust, just a little more than stock. If I get the catted downpipes, I was thinking about leaving the JB+ at the default 2.75psi as the downpipes would an additional ~1psi. If I didn't get the downpipes I would turn the JB+ up to 3.5psi.

Any thoughts?

You want to keep it simple, yet you're prepared to install downpipes yourself... but won't take 10-15 minutes to install a piggy?

Uh... re-read what I typed.

I *could* install it myself.. but won't. So that means I would get a shop to install the dp.

forge Dv's arent really necessary or too helpful until you are pushing more boost...for the mods you have planned, I would say you dont need them

I'm still up in arms about the catted downpipes. With the hot weather coming... the VK fmic would prolly be a better buy in keeping my car cool... and it's a direct bolt on. I don't like the way the car feels in hot weather even on stock boost

If you go to that trouble to have a shop install DPs - that makes installing a piggy in the ECU a walk in the park.

It really isn't that hard at all. If you can turn a ratchet, you can install a piggy.
