Jammed 6 CD

Can anyone advise ?

I have an E90 with 6 CD player in the boot which has a fault. The CD cassette won't eject and the car audio can't detect any CD stacker at all.

Is there a way for me to manually eject the cassette or do I have to go to the local stealer/indie specialist ?

Anyone else experienced this problem ?

Don't know if it helps but I had the same problem on my E60 (530D). I think the six CD is the same mech (though fitted in the glove box on the 5). Dang silly thing just sat there rattling around trying to select the discs and eventually gave up trying. I tried a few things to get the cd holder out but in the end it had to go the dealer, as I recall they had to change the whole unit.
