Muffler Delete Mod: At Rayco

Hi All,

I was asking for advice on the muffler delete mod a few weeks ago and finally got it done today.

This mod actually sounds very good for the price and it is not obnoxiously loud. There is some drone around 2500rpm but most of the time its actually pretty quiet until you step on it.

By the way, I have a 330i E90 6MT and I am near Rutgers New Brunswick in case anyone wants to hear what it sounds like.

I got mine done at

Rayco
276 State Route 18
East Brunswick, NJ 08816
(732) 257-9000

They were the most inexpensive shop around the central Jersey area and I went to a few shops including Mufflex, meineke, and a small custom exhaust shop before them and was quoted much higher prices. Quality of the job was also excellent.

Speak to Tony at Rayco if you are interested and tell him that Eddy with the Black BMW referred you.

Thanks.

Instead of making a new thread I will just post the question here. I want to get it done, but for tips, what size do I need so it connects to the pipe flush, I know crap about exhausts.

I think 2.25 or 2.5 would do. I am not exactly sure but a good muffler shop can weld difference sizes together.

Hope other can comment on this.
