Does anyone know for sure if ZSP springs for say, an e92 are the same exact part as those for an e90? The parts site for Tischer allows you to order a replacement spring by specifying year, e-code, xi or not, and zsp or not. But it won't show part numbers, so you can't tell if the e-code and/or year actually matter. I've also seen some discussion that other options like 6MT / step might matter as well.

So does anyone have access to a BMW system that can help determine how many variations of ZSP springs there are? This would be really helpful for anyone (like me) that is looking for a used set of ZSP springs.

you can take a look at www.realoem.com and compare say an E92 ZSP to an E90 ZSP

I took a quick look on realoem, it seems that with factory-equipped zsp, there's an additional damper that goes with the zsp springs

So when you're shopping for an used pair of zsp springs, make sure you get the associated components that go with it as well.

I had already looked at realoem. if you click on the spring you get:

"The choice of proper coil springs depends on the options installed on your vehicle. Refer to your local BMW dealer for details."

For seemingly all the other parts you can get a part number.

To answer your question, there are different springs for every vehicle and it all depends on the options you have.
For example, an e90 335 with an auto trans and sport package wil not have the same springs as an e90 335 with a manual and sport package.
