GT Pro Performance Tuning turbo upgrade
Anyone purchased this turbo upgrade yet?
http://boostedbimmers.com/turbokits.html GT PRO Performance Tuning announces the arrival of it's new turbo upgrade for the 335i With our years of experience building forced induction vehicles, has lead us to this upgrade. Tapping on our experience in the way of utilizing the stock housings as we have done so many times successfully in the past, we were able to achieve what some say was impossible. A turbo upgrade that is virtually undetectable by the dealership. Those who are afraid of having issues at the dealership, worry not!! Our turbo upgrade cannot be detected, unless completely disassembled. The proprietary GT Series compressor wheels have been specifically designed with the latest in aerodynamic compressor technology, we also keep the proper exducer to diffuser area for optimum efficiency. The turbine side has been specifically clipped to reduce backpressure which rounds out the upgrade. Our dyno testing has shown a very nice 45rwhp gain at lower and safer boost settings. The goal was clear, develop a turbo upgrade for an already outstanding car, and transform it into a phenomenal car. That goal has been achieved. Additional tuning IS needed to take full advantage of our turbo upgrade, inquire with us for details. $2495.00 + core Your stock cores must be returned to us within 15 days of receipt of your upgrades. |

i almost wana blow my turbos to get these...haha
But let me get this straight. I am paying thousands for a product which will be mine after I buy it ..... BUT I have to return my old turbos? But they are already mine..why would i give them to anyone?? Its not like my turbos are free....the dealer actually charges $10,000 for those. thats like if i go to Best Buy to get a TV and they tell me that I have to return my previous TV first. If I buy something..then I shouldnt have to give anything else i own in return....othwerwise it should be an exchange

Guys, we will accept your blown turbos as long as they are all intact (not dismantled) as a core exchange.
We're still working on trying to get someone to help us develop a tune for this upgrade. Some specifics, the compressor wheel flows approx. 48% more air than the stock. If we can harness this potential, we should start having a lot faster N54's out there. |

We also offer for guys to send in their turbos to have us build them into upgrades if they wish to wait for us to do the service. |

Thanks Brian for the info. I wonder what kind of gains you would get with a JB3 turbo melter? See if Terry can just send you one of those maps to try out..

^ yes I do, I mean that Terry could send them an even more extreme melter map since these turbo's flow more air thus should be able to handle more boost safely... unfortunately we do not know the limits of the engine internals though so it's risky I guess ..
