Tischer BMW/getBMWparts.com is proud to announce BMW has finally released the BMW Performance 'BLACK' Grills for pre-facelift E90/91 sedans/wagons, as well as E92/93 coupes/convertibles!!!

E90/91 pre-facelift (vehicles produced up to 9/2008) sedan & wagon grills are sold as a set of 4 -- including both lower grills and upper covers. E92/93 coupe and convertible grills are sold individually.

Are they aluminum or something? That's like double the price of most plastic ones.

These are from BMW. That means they have OEM goodness attached to them. (warranty, great fitment, hopefully German or BMW partner made/not Chinese, you get to help BMW make crazy amounts of profit to stay in business, etc)

I am sure the third party ones are good, but I am so anal about warranty, whenever BMW releases a part, I feel as though I have their blessing to do the mod, and that if I take my car in for HPFP failure, they won't say its from aftermarket matte black grills

-EDIT: Actually, I know the third party ones are good as the folks as SupremePower showed me their grills and they looked of the highest quality...I was about to spring for them if I decided I liked the look or not (around $70) but I happened to catch these OEM ones on getbmwparts.com this morning when browsing. (and then I found this thread)

I just ordered mine (E90 LCI-Gloss finish) from Irvine BMW and they guy there gave it to me fro $50 each, originally $72 each. Ask for Shaun

I feel you about the warranty, especially since my mom is constantly on my back about it (yes, she payed for the extended warranty. and the car

) but I figured denying warranty service for a grill could be as low as you could go, and probably would be open to argument.
