I would have agreed a few seasons ago. Now it's getting old. Same shit different boat.
Until one with a film crew on it actually sinks their just filming the same stuff from last season.

It was interesting the first couple seasons, now it's just boring. Same old shit.

This season started off kind of grim. Keith thinking he may have cancer, the Cornelia Marie guy finding out he still has blood clots, Sig getting caught giving Edgar a herring oil massage, Godzilla going apeshit and flipping boats. Crazy stuff.
Seriously, it started off bleak compared to the other seasons. The boats are aging, Keith is out of money and may have cancer, Phil still has blood clots, the weather is really bad and it's only October. I would guess that if anything truly bad happened they wouldn't be able to keep it quiet, but it seems like they're setting up for an unhappy ending.

I find it funny that in this day and age Discovery Channel and the History Channel( believe they are owned by the same company anyway) are airing shows that are so not politically correct. Fishing the hell out of crabs( I bet a lot of Chesapeake Bay fisherman think of that. Blue Crab are dying off.....) and chopping down trees.
But, besides that awesome show Deadliest Catch is. |
