Issues with Valentine

I've had my V1 for a year now and love it. I finally got use to the laser going off from the infiniti suv's.
Now I'm noticing whenever I'm around a new audi, the V1 goes bananas. I get arrrows all over the place and the # goes upwards of 4-5-6-7.
This is getting very annoying now and it screws me up if there would be a cop around since I wouldn't know.
Are there any updates or ways to stop this from happening without sacrificing the radar detection?

I did that and got this message:
"Status Report on Your Valentine One
Serial Number xxxxxxxx41
V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8—POP2 with Euro Mode. This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser.

Upgrade Recommendation: You already have our best."

Any other ideas?

I sent them my V1 once and I got back a totally different unit and when I put in the serial number, it said it needed an update! That ticked me off!!

Thanks that's my next step. It's only happened twice now but each time there was a new audi in front of me or coming at me from opposite direction

unfortunately a radar signal is a radar signal to the unit.. If it's coming across as x-band, you can always disable it, but looking at your location of philly suburbs... if you drive in NJ at all (like me) I know they still use X-band, so that's not an option. I don't know about what PA does and does not use.
