Feeler: 189 style with RFT and TPMS
Hey guys, I'm selling my OEM 18" 189 style rims with Potenzas run flat tires, TPMS and BMW center caps. I got my E92 last summer and barely drove it, and as I'm still in the break in period, the tires are like new and have less than 3k miles on them. The wheels are flawless with no scratches or blemishes (wait till I post the pics) I'm getting back to driving this car so next week I'm getting new 19" CSL style rims with Falken tires. I prefer local deal (central Florida) since, as you know, these are heavy mofos...I don't want to deal with shipping. Any takers? Given the impeccable condition of these, I'm asking $1,900... I'll take pictures next week once I take them off and replace them with the new ones. Skol!! |

All right, I guess price is too high...would 1,700 be more reasonable then?

Thanks guys for the input; the wheels are coming off sometime this week and I'll take pictures of the actual product.
I'll still prefer not to deal with shipping though... |

Packing/Shipping on just the wheels is not too bad...wrap 'em in bubble wrap and stick 2 in each box. With tires, the shipping cost is just silly...each one weighs 55# and you'll need a separate box for each.

However, you just brought my attention to something. I might be able to sell the wheels only as my car is a lease and just keep the tires. Do you guys know if the dealer will have a fit if I return the car with non OEM wheels (i.e CSL style reps) but keep the correct Bridgestone Potenza runflats? Must you have the OEM wheels when you return a lease? Has anyone done it before? |
