Its like i can feel it hit/rub against something. Not all the time but most of the time. I hope im not going crazy lol. There will parts of the road where you can feel every crack but when i get to smooth roads i still feel like im going over a crack.

I think offset +20 will put your wheel pass the fender. I did try put my wheel: 20x8.5 Offset +43 with 15mm spacer at front, which make the offset: 43-15=28 (245/35/20 tires). The wheel is just almost out of the fender. Looks great though, very aggressive. but it's inpractical since it will rub even on small bumps and when turning (Eibach sport spring installed). I wonder how offset 20 will turn out.

Care to post some photos? I'm curious to see how that looks on your car.
Also, what's your wheel width? |

Longtran, I agree with you regarding the magic number.
Now if we machine the wheel from offset 20mm to a depth of 8mm,so now we bring it to 28mm offset.Would it be dangerous?(wheel crack) etc |

my set up is 245/35/19 8.5 20mm offset for the fronts 255/35/19 9.5 20mm for the rear. I had to roll my fenders in the rear. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

no rubbing when driving straight. Even at turns i dont feel rub. I do however think that the fronts are hitting some part of the suspension. I get this random vibration. |

Dude, i hate to tell you this, but your offsets are messed up. It's for 5 series. With 245/35 in front, offset will be 35mm-40mm. Mine is 40mm in front and it has ~3mm left to the strut side. I used to have 20mm in rear with 275/30 and it rubbed so much that I replaced with 39mm offset.

Should i just get smaller tires in the front? Like 235's? My rears are fine now. I just think something is rubbing agaist the strut....not all the time...just randomly.
